This April, Classical 89, KBYU-FM invited its listeners to share their favorite classical music pieces as part of the "Classical 89 Top 40 Contest."

This year’s contest theme was "Battle of the Sexes: The Re-Match," with the purpose of comparing the choices of men and women in Classical 89’s listening audience. (In 2005 we ran the same contest and decided to have a re-match this year.)

The votes have been tallied and compiled into a Top 40 list. Tune in as we compare the choices of men and women on the "Top 40 Countdown" airing on Classical 89 May 18-22 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and May 23 from 3:00 to 5:00p.m
