Food Safety
With the outbreaks of salmonella and recalls of meat, how do we know when the food we're eating is safe?  Today we're talking with Roger A. Clemens about food  myths and recalls. Dr. Clemens is Associated Director of the Regulatory Science program and adjunct Professor of Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Sciences within the School of Pharmacy at the University of Southern California.  He is also the President elect of the Institute of Food Technologists. Also joining us is Michael Dunn, an associate professor and department chair of BYU's Department of Nutrition, Dietetics and Food Science.—Original airdate: 9/23/2010
