Muhammad Musri: Muslims as Americans--A Florida Imam on Islam's Place in the US
Though he has spent most of his life in the United States, Muhammad Musri was a child in Beirut, Lebanon while the city enjoyed a golden age of both culture and religious tolerance. He saw early on that peaceful coexistence is possible and believes that in America, Muslims can and already do play an important part in fostering civil and religious peace.  The role of Muslims as Americans is the topic of today's Thinking Aloud.—Original airdate: 8/4/2016
