LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN:
Wind Quintet H 19
Thinking Aloud
Rationalizing Dishonesty
Any discussion of dishonesty seems to have an immediate polarizing effect on its participants. We dissect motivations, outcomes, and even consider whether deviant behavior has a place in society. We like to consider ourselves to be generally honest individuals, but a closer look at rationalizing dishonesty may reveal that our characters are not quite as spotless as we think.—Original airdate: 7/8/2009
