Thinking Aloud
Henry Whiting on Frank Lloyd Wright
"When I first saw [the building]," writes Henry Whiting, "it was obviously uninhabited. A chain link fence topped with...barbed wire surrounded the property...The roof was sagging and makeshift supports had been added." Thinking Aloud talks with Whiting about the building he personally restored and now dwells in--a Frank Lloyd Wright original--hidden away near Bliss, Idaho. Also on the program is Peter Delafosse, acquisitions editor for the University of Utah Press, which published Whiting's book on Frank Lloyd Wright, "At Nature's Edge: Frank Lloyd Wright's Artist Studio."—Original airdate: 6/21/2007
