Larry Loftis: Dusko Popov--The WWII Spy Who Was the Model for James Bond
The amazing Serbian spy Dusko Popov was a double agent who worked undercover for Britain's MI-6 during World War II while all the time pretending to the Nazis to be a loyal spy for them.  He played an enormous role in helping turn the tide of WWII towards the Allies and was also, as a new book by guest Larry Loftis shows, the main model for Ian Fleming's James Bond. Fleming knew Popov and much of what became his Bond character is based on the talented, courageous Serbian.—Original airdate: 6/15/2016
