Ferdinando De Simone: The Other Side of Vesuvius: Studying the Ancients Who Survived
Girolamo Ferdinando De Simone is an archaeologist who is a driving force andintellect behind an ongoing dig, not at Pompeii, but on the opposite, north slope of Vesuvius, which haspractically been forgotten or at least neglected.
