Hindu Art--Its Ancient, Stunning History at the BYU Museum of Art
An ongoing exhibit at the BYU Museum of Art focuses on Hinduism, a religious tradition that was thoroughly permeated by religious art from its beginnings over 2000 years ago.  Focusing on images of Vishnu and Krishna that span centuries of history, the exhibition explores how bhakti (the practice of fervent, impassioned devotion to deity) influences the lives and worship of Hindu people and reveals the depth and intimacy of their relationship towards the divine. Guest host Mark Burns talks today with MOA Curator of Religious Art Ashlee Whitaker who organized the exhibition Loving Devotion.—Original airdate: 11/26/2014
